EN 55014
1:2006 Electromagnetic compatibility — Requirements for household appliances, electric tools and similar apparatus — Part 1: Emission

Scope
International standard EN 55014
1:2006 is applicable for electrical equipment, whose main functions are performed by motors, switching and regulating devices. Separate parts of previously mentioned equipment.

Classification
International standard EN 550141:2006 have no classification of equipment it covers, however there exist power related limit lines in list of requirements.

Examples
Household electrical appliances, electrical tools, simple drives and inverter controlled drives, electrical toys, cooking appliances.

Requirements
Conducted emission requirements for mains ports and telecommunication ports must be met in frequency range 150kHz-30MHz.
Disturbance power for mains ports and telecommunication ports must be met in frequency range 30MHz-300MHz.
Radiated emission requirements are applied in this standard only for toys and must be met in frequency rage 30MHz-1GHz.
